This past Friday was the first observatory open house of the school year. Due to bad advertising (by me,) only thirty or so people showed up. Friday was one of the clearest, darkest nights we have had in a long time. I was able to show M15, M31, M32, M45, M52, M103, and a few random stars. It was a good night. That reminds me . . . The astronomy club elections were a couple weeks ago. This year I wanted to concentrate on the observatory, so I didn't run for Supreme High Chancellor (president.) This year I am High Chancellor (VP) and running the observatory.
