The AFSCFC is a week long program in either Colorado or Florida. At both locations cadets get a good look at the United States space power. I went to the course in Colorado in the summer of 2000. It was a very interesting week. We were kept very busy with tours and classes. We stayed at the USAFA Prep School and toured several Air Force bases in the area. One of the more well known sites that we toured was Cheyenne Mountain, home of NORAD. Air Force Space Command Familiarization Course is a very good program, and I would recommend it to any cadet interested in the space program.
